A bride to be

So Monday I came home for lunch to make me a sandwich, healthy right? I thought so. Jill was a witness to my making when she so kindly asked "Do I need to teach you how to make a bride to be sandwich!?" Apparently my sandwich wasn't quite so healthy! It consisted of white bread, tukey slices, ranch dressing and a single slice of cheese. Doesn't sound too bad right?! Well yesterday I think I deprived myself due to this small conversation! I think I got it right today though! I started off the morning with 2 egg whites, and a bowl of Wheaties with some sliced up strawberries. And for lunch, WHEAT bread, turkey and chicken slices, a slice of a pickle (those cool sandwich kind) and a tomato slice! NO cheese, or dressing of any kind! I thru it on my grill and it was delightful! I also enjoyed 2 more slices of tomato and a hard boiled egg! Try and tell me I had an unhealthy lunch, just try!!! I'm also drinking LOTS of water. I should probably set up my office in the ladies room! Sheesh!

what did you eat today!?

Come and knock on our doooor...

....We'll be waiting for yoooou!

Last weekend our basement filled up....with new roomies! My sister, her husband and daughter have moved in until they find a new place to call home!

Jessica has been sick and as much time as I have spent around people with colds and such this past winter I never really got a bad one....well let me tell you what having a 2 1/2 year old niece living with you can do to that! I'M SICK! (*cough* cough*) Well sicker than I've been in a long time. I missed work Thursday and Friday and today I'm going to try and make it to teach my Laurels but even the thought is wiping me out. You would think I'd be sleeping great with how exhausted I am. Sleep? WHAT IS THAT?! I want some!!!
Anyway...though Jessi Kate shared her cold with me I'm still excited they are here with us for a bit. Who knows they might be here until after I'm gone!

Yesterday Mike came over and we had some apartment books to look at. (it's the best I could do from my bed!) But I think we have some really great options to look into calling home! It's getting exciting, OH and we booked our photogrpher! The great Adilfa with Don Polo photography! She is the same crazy fun lady that did Jill's wedding! We love her!

That's it for now...I'm going to go sleep...oh wait...what's that!?

It really was nice

Aunt Jerry's funeral really was nice. The kindest words were said about her and the choir was amazing. I've never heard a more beautiful ward choir in my life!!
We love and will miss our aunt but we know she is with our loving father in heaven and she's watching over us!

A Courageous Woman

My sweet Aunt Jerry passed away early Monday morning after a courageous
battle with cancer. We will miss her. She is loved by so many. She was a wonderful
aunt, mother, sister, grandmother and daughter. She is a hero to us all.
We all love and will miss you.

In the works

(sorry...a tad bit lengthy!)

Tonight is the first night in a couple of weeks that I am home doing pretty much NOTHING and it is WONDERFUL!!!! Of course that doesn't mean that NOTHING is on my mind, trust me there is plenty, plenty to go around and share :)
This past weekend we went to St. George (I hope at this point when I say "we" I am referring to Mike and myself unless otherwise noted) so WE went to St. George for baby Tessa's blessing! She looked SO sweet and we had a great time holding her and playing with the kids, and watching Audrey's cheer performance!! She was the best one! GO AUDREY!!

I also found my wedding dress! We made a couple appointments to try on dresses so I would know for sure which style would look best. After trying on a few we knew what style would best fit me...and it wasn't really ANY of the ones I had tried on which were sheath, although not the worst, still not the best. And then I tried IT on! When I walked out of the dressing room all the girls starting smiling and clapping and giving BIG thumbs up of approval! They could see how happy I was and felt in this dress. We asked the price and mom said she can't make it for that price so we bought it! Mom will make a few alterations which I really can't share here on my ever so public blog that Mike might read! If you are too impatient let me know and I will e-mail you a picture : )

Well now that we have the temple and reception booked at Heritage Gardens, the luncheon and the dress I guess we can get married now...OH WAIT...no we can't....there still SO much to do.
Next up, picking out invitations. Lucky for us Mike's step dad Mike Bailey has his own printing company and so we can just chill at the homestead and pick out an invitation that fits out style!
Hopefully next week we will get in touch with a photographer because really that should be NEXT! Oh and we have material for the 7 bridesmaid skirts....and Mike's worried 16 weeks won't come fast enough..WHATEVER I have PLENTY to do, what's his problem!? ( hehe just jokin' babe, love you!)

Well because I can't show you my dress I will happily show off Tessa's blessing dress!! Isn't she so flippin' cute!?
